We were at a lecture during a vacation in Wisconsin, and looked over at a Chicago newspaper
being read by a neighbor, and there was Rob's picture on the front page!! Congratulations, we were thrilled to hear of the award.

Its not every day that you are listening to NPR while cooking dinner ( that is every day) and hear the Noble Prize associated with the name of someone that has shared the waters of Third Lake Machias in Maine, playing fields and classrooms, and love of parents as if they were your own. Congratulations.

Hi Professor Engle:
Congratulation for you prize, really for the people around the word who work in the risk Management is a great new, becasue is the recognition of your talent and effort devoted to the new discipline, the financial econometrics.
I read the most of your papers, frome the classical about the ARCH published in Econometrica, until the research about the CViar and the cointegration.
